Many Classical Guitar Societies have "Concert Series. If each one has 4 concerts a year, that would be close to a thousand available performances. As a performer, you can use this list to "Prospect" for concert opportunities. As a society, you could use the "Performing Guitarists" list to find talent. Small societies could start their "Series" with the local performers, who could be willing to play for a smaller amount of money. Then develop a name base of audience members that could be put into mass email for low cost advertizing. After a time, both audience numbers and money reserves could grow, opening the door into the "Next Level Higher" talent pool. The bigger societies hopefully will draw from all four categories of performers, as well as add more concerts each year.
This list can also be used by the student/performer to find monthly meetings to perform, listen, or just to keep up on the local musical news.
